Easy DIY Home Projects – You Too Can Do This

July 16, 2012 By Vidya 4 Comments

A big welcome to all the new fans. Glad you could share this fun journey with us. Every month around the 15th we go on an inspiration hunt on Pinterest and return with some amazing ideas. Here is this month’s installment of DIY home projects that are simple enough for anyone. The best part is, all these turn everyday items into great decor.

Did you know you could make an industrial light with embroidery hoops? Some paints, screws, a lighting kit and voila. Thrifty Decor Chick has the details.

A easy way to reuse those plastic animal toys when you kids outgrow them – turn them into faux ceramic decor with spray paint just like Suite Revival did.

      It is also called mod podge. You cover something with bits of paper/fabric etc with a glue that dries clear. You can see it in more detail here;

      Hmm…seems to be working. It doesn’t usually require you to have an Pinterest acct to see the link. Maybe something to do with your firewall? Do let me know if it works from home.
