Happy Valentine’s Day Y’all!

February 14, 2013 By Vidya 2 Comments

While the bloggy word has been going ga ga over Valentine’s day were you wondering why I haven’t said a word? For good or bad it is one of those holidays that has never fascinated me.  I think, Valentine’s day in today’s world is sadly way too over hyped and marketed. I guess most of the holidays in the US are but this one especially I have a hard time buying into.  I know I’m gonna break some true believer’s hearts here but  to me, I would rather be treated special everyday than just one day (whether I get treated like that or not is a totally different story 😉 ).  Shower me with flowers any day and I’ll be super happy but on Valentines I would be more inclined to think what a waste of money it is to buy flowers when they cost twice or thrice more (total rip off, I tell ya).

Anyways, since it is the day of professing love I was going to let you in on my latest crush.

Happy Valentines Day Yall!

A Moroccan candle votive that I would like to makeover into a Moroccan pendant light. But I’m not really feeling up to it tonight (I’m writing this on 13th night). Was working from home today (on a really really busy work day) while taking care of a sick kid and battling the stomach bug. So that will have to wait till next week. Hope to back in full form tomorrow to take ya on a window shopping trip.
