Came here for the DIY art reveal? Sorry, that’ll have to wait till tomorrow. Had to work late and to top it off even brought work home for the evening. To make matters worse by the time I got home it was cloudy, not enough light for pics. Yeah, I wait till the last minute to take ‘after’ shots of projects/rooms! Another full time working mom blogger cliche, right?
Anyways popping in today to share an awesome project that I came across Apartment Therapy (originally from Design Sponge). Ideally this would have been part of a Pinspiration post but ‘coz of my recent issues with Pinterest, that post is not gonna happen anytime soon. And I couldn’t wait to share this genius idea with y’all.
An Iron-Transfer Floral Duvet Cover!
If you have an an inkjet printer and some iron-on transfer papers (for light fabrics) you also can try your hand at recreating this look. Seriously, think about all the possibilities. You could transfer any picture that you like even your kid’s scribbles. You could update that boring old duvet cover or bed sheets (yup, exactly the one you are thinking of…..we all have one of those :)) or pillow covers or even curtains. So head on over to Design Sponge and check out the tutorial.
