Scouting Craigslist Episode 7

August 1, 2012 By Vidya Leave a Comment

It is that time of the month again! Can’t believe July went by so fast. The summer is almost over! As usual here is a round up of all the cool Craigslist deals around the country.

DC: $65 for this gorgeous antique dresser!  Yes it does need some love, the finish is chipped in a few places especially the back and top. But look at all that detail and the turned legs!

NYC: Some serious drooling over this Crate and Barrel Phoenix Work Table listed for $900 (ya it is high but wait till you hear the original price). It seems it is barely used and was purchased 2 months ago for $1,500. It measures 72″Wx30.5″Dx30″H. According to the C & B site it handcrafted from reclaimed telephone poles!

Detroit: This Pier 1 mosaic patio set with 4 chairs, table, and a $80 custom glass top was priced at $150. Per the owner it is in great shape as they store it away in winter.

Santa Barbara: More Pier1 merchandise. This multicolored shelving set (for $45) in good condition will make a great addition to a boys’ room.

Atlanta: A serious case of rug envy in The Big Peach! I want this for my retreat upstairs. 🙂 This two month old 9×12 Pottery Barn Henley Rug in Cranberry Red is a fab deal for$300 when compared to the original price of $749!
